‘Tis the season to go glam and gorgeous! Holiday party season is finally here and we have just the tools to help you through it. When you have multiple holiday shindigs going on, you’ll need a makeup look that goes with every outfit, whether you’re wearing a subtle LBD or a bold velvet number. We’re steering clear of the traditional glitter eyeshadow and shocking red lip, and giving you a more stand-out look that’s sure to turn heads this season.
These 4 steps create a glamorous look that’s sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
Step1: Long-wear Prep
After moisturizing your skin, apply your primer to help your makeup slide on easily and stay on throughout the day. If you’re heading straight to your holiday party this step is especially important because it means minimal touch-ups throughout the day. Applying your primer will help your look stay put all night, even if you decide to hit the dance floor.
Step 2: Smooth Surface
Whether you want a sheer or full coverage for the night, our MagicMinerals AirCushion is there for you. In addition to a radiant glow, your skin will be protected thanks to the clinical level skincare ingredients in our liquid foundation. Apply it to your skin using a foundation brush for lasting results.
Step 3: Chiseled Cheek Bones
It’s time to do some sculpting. Using the MagicMinerals Contour Kit, define your cheekbones with one of the darker shades. For a more dramatic look, use the contour brush against your nose and jawline as well. Brush the lighter shade just above your cheekbone in an ‘L’ shape around your eyes and in the center of your nose.
Step 4: Sultry Smokey Eyes
Create a dramatic eye with our Smokey Eye Kit. The key to this step is layering and blending. Be sure to not lightly build the colors so you don’t go overboard—we’re going for glam, not gloom. Once you’re satisfied, blend in the colors to achieve the smokey effect.
Step 5: Bursting Berry Lip
Everyone’s going for cherry red, right? Stand out with a berry lipstick shade instead. If you want to soften your look even more, you can also go for the light pink shade.
Don’t allow the glitz and glam to ruin your skin. Learn how to prevent your makeup from causing breakouts.
