Tip and tricks to perfecting your look
Cleanse and Moisturize Your Face for Best Makeup Results
To maintain a flawless face, you need to include a daily routine of cleansing and moisturizing. If you apply makeup without making sure that your skin is clean and smooth first, then you won’t achieve the best results.
You should wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Always remove your makeup before you go to bed. You will retain more moisture in your skin if you apply moisturizer while your face is slightly damp.
Color, Contouring and Highlighting
Your cheeks and your lips give you the opportunity to add a pinch of natural blush or a blast of color. Create a look that suits your day with these easy tips.
Brush: Use the blusher brush on the cheekbone, cheeks, jawline, chin, forehead, and nose.
It’s important to sculpt your face based on the shape of your face and your features. The perfect face is an oval-shaped face because it has the most pleasing width/length ratio.
Lighten, Darken, Contour, Blend
Envision the eyelid in three parts, and apply eyeshadow depending on your eye shape. For all eyes, the center of the eyelid gets a very light highlight eyeshadow shade. One the last third of the eyelid, choose a darker eyeshadow shade. Feel along the last third of the eyelid toward the end of the brow bone. Using an eyeshadow brush, follow that line until the end of the socket. Then going back to the right above the lashes, make a “V”. Fill in the “V” area with the dark color.
Define, Color, Shape
Brush: Use the lip brush to achieve smooth, even application of color with a clear and defined line. The blunt tip is for lining the tips and the flat or side of the brush is used to fill in lip color.
To begin, make sure that your lips are dry and smooth. Remove any traces of old lipstick. The color of your lips changes the shade of the lipstick. To get the original rich color, blend a bit of your crème foundation on your lips and blot off before you apply lipstick.
